This year (2008) was the first time Reuven led a Seder. Natalie co-led the Seder, and in the end of the evening, she was looking for ALL the leftover pieces of Imma's Passover Pesah Coconut Cake.
|1 1/2 cups||sugar|
|1/2 cup||canola oil|
|100 gram||toasted coconut bits|
|1 pack||Osem self-rising Passover flour (OR 1 cup of Passover cake meal plus 1 teaspoon backing powder)|
|1/2 cup||water or orange juice (if Parve is not an issue, use milk)|
|1 teaspoon||coconut or vanilla extract|
- heat oven to 350F
- cream together oil, sugar and eggs.
- add rest of ingridients, mix well.
- pour into greased pan
- bake until a toothpick comes out not-yukky (about 35 minutes in a normal country, depending on the thickness of the pan)
- Enjoy and HAPPY PASSOVER!!!
