Serves 1 - Oded
No meal at the folks is complete without a bowl of hummus for Oded.
It's never a problem, because she keeps bags of cooked chickpeas in the freezer.
- 1 bag chickpeas
- 1/4 cup tahinni paste
- 2 teeth garlic
- salt, pepper, lemon juice and cumin - to taste.
- Soak chickpeas overnight.
- Cook till soft.
- Put into food processor 3 cups chick peas and the rest of the ingredients.
- Mix untill smooth.
- Taste and adjust seasoning.
The rest of the chickpeas can be served whole with salt and pepper or frozen for future use.
