Serves 1 - Oded

No meal at the folks is complete without a bowl of hummus for Oded.

It's never a problem, because she keeps bags of cooked chickpeas in the freezer.



Ingredients:

  • 1 bag chickpeas
  • 1/4 cup tahinni paste
  • 2 teeth garlic
  • salt, pepper, lemon juice and cumin - to taste.

Preparation:

  • Soak chickpeas overnight.
  • Cook till soft.
  • Put into food processor 3 cups chick peas and the rest of the ingredients.
  • Mix untill smooth.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning.

The rest of the chickpeas can be served whole with salt and pepper or frozen for future use.
