Compot Shesek (Loquat)

Serves Everybody
Ginton and Yehudit love compot shesek. To everyone else, it tastes a bit sour. Because we had so many shesek trees, Ema used to make a lot of shesek compot. Every once in a while, Zahava would pick our the shesek from the compot, and make a pie. Nachman loved the pie!
Ingredients:
some | shesek |
some | sugar or Splenda |
water | |
3 | sticks cinnamon |
Preparation:
- Wash shesek well.
- Put shesek into pressure cooker, add water to cover, sugar or Splenda, and cinnimon sticks.
- Cook on pressure - depending how old the pressure cooker is (about 10 minutes). Cool.
