Chopped Liver
Serves 12
Great as an appetizer. Serve with fresh Chala for friday night dinner. Aba Ginton won't eat it - too much cholesterol!
Today we wiz it all in the food processor, but we remmber when Ema Jean used to grind it in that big metal meat grinder that was assembled from many parts, and after she finished grinding it all, she put a chunk of bread through the grinder: to get the last bits.
Ingredients:
- 6 Chicken livers
- 2 Large onions - chopped
- 2 Eggs - hard boiled
- 1 Tbs. Oil
- Salt and pepper

Preparation:
1. Grill livers under "grill" of oven or in toster oven.
2. Fry onions in oil.
3. Mix in food procesor: grilled livers, fried onions, hard boiled eggs, salt and pepper till mixed together.
4. Form into a ball cover with seran wrap and chill.
5. Put on serving plate and decorate with pickels, cherry tomatoes, crackers, sliced hard-boiled egg etc. (according to your mood).
